I need one of these! I've resorted to hiding my cellphone (which doubles as my alarm clock) behind the bedside table now so that I can't just reach and hit the snooze button. I once overslept for an afternoon class too O.o

Great, so I got back safely from my river adventure on the Orange River. Pics coming soon -- after a quick glance yesterday I found a few worthy shots out of the 500-odd I took This morning was off to such a great start when I got stuck in really bad traffic on the way to the office. Oh well, I suppose most people are back to work by now. At least my inbox didn't look quite as bad as I expected it to be! And to boot, it feels really nice to be driving around in a real *car* as opposed to a WW2 battle tank 4x4.

Thanks to Simon, I got to shoot some real fashion shows last week - after lots and lots of snapping, I have some 3000 photos of the Audi Joburg Fashion Week. Wow. It's not easy stuff that - but I did learn lots (I need a better lens for one thing) and had great fun in the process. Still catching up on sleep as I had to juggle work, the fashion shows, and a really cool toy which I could only enjoy for a couple of days (the latter deserves a post of its own). I will be posting more catwalk and backstage stuff on my Flickr photo stream as I get through the piles of files
