Happy Valentines Day to All!
Ceilidh made me the yummiest chocolate chip cookies ever! Thanks, babe! Happy Valentines Day to all out there.
Witisand Sunset Panorama
I finally got around to processing some more pics from the Orange River trip and I found this stunning sunset sequence of panoramic shots. Just the place you want to be for sundowners! Best viewed large.
Nan Hua Buddhist Temple
We went on an improvised photography trip to the Nan Hua Buddhist Temple with Robert and Tanya on Saturday. I'd heard lots about it and it was great to finally see it - it looks so foreign and out of place in the middle of the dry highvelt! Sadly, you can't stay after 5pm unless you are staying for the night so we had to leave just before the light was at its best - that is why the outdoor pictures look quite harsh. Interesting location, and I'll definitely be back for more in the near future.
Broken
Robert and I went for a drive/photo expedition on Saturday and snapped some cool pictures. We found this cool railway station out towards Rustenburg which seems to be used by the mines in the region, it provided much amusement for both of us. Some more shots in my Flickr stream.

The alarm clock that runs and hides so you’ll never oversleep again
I need one of these! I've resorted to hiding my cellphone (which doubles as my alarm clock) behind the bedside table now so that I can't just reach and hit the snooze button. I once overslept for an afternoon class too O.o

Work-mode On
Great, so I got back safely from my river adventure on the Orange River. Pics coming soon -- after a quick glance yesterday I found a few worthy shots out of the 500-odd I took This morning was off to such a great start when I got stuck in really bad traffic on the way to the office. Oh well, I suppose most people are back to work by now. At least my inbox didn't look quite as bad as I expected it to be! And to boot, it feels really nice to be driving around in a real *car* as opposed to a WW2 battle tank 4x4.
